REIKI LEVEL 1

There are no pre-requisites to take a Level 1 workshop. This workshop is 8 hours and is completed in one day. A certificate will be issued at the end of the workshop. Some information and techniques covered in this workshop are

· the history of Reiki,

· an introduction to Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi and Hawayo Takata,

· what Reiki is and how it works,

· the Reiki principles and how to apply them to your life,

· how Reiki affects the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies,

· an introduction to the chakras,

· hand positions for self treatments,

· the hand positions to treat others,

· and the Level 1 attunement.

After receiving a Level 1 attunement, you will be able to do self treatments and treatments on others.

Workshops

Reiki workshops are conducted in the Usui style of Reiki and are

recognized by the Canadian Reiki Association.

The training is intensive and very thorough. It includes a combination of lecture, group discussion and hands-on practice. Additional information is also included that is not usually covered by other teachers. Discussion is encouraged and questions are dealt with openly during the class.

Reiki is a special kind of healing energy that can be channeled only by someone who has been attuned to it. Therefore, most healers who have not received the Reiki attunement from a Reiki Master/Teacher are not using Reiki but another kind of healing energy.

By following steps taught by a trained Reiki Master/Teacher, anyone is able to direct the "life force energy" of Reiki to meet individual needs.

REIKI LEVEL 2

Level 1 is a pre-requisite for Level 2. A photocopy of your Level 1 certificate is required upon registration. This workshop is 8 hours and is completed in one day. A certificate will be issued at the end of the workshop. Some information and techniques covered in this workshop are:

· the Reiki level 2 symbols,

· distance/absentee healing techniques,

· using Reiki for specific conditions,

· working with chakras and kundalini,

· enhancing your flow of Ki,

· and the Level 2 attunement.

After receiving the Level 2 attunement, you will be able to do a treatment on others from a distance. You will be able to intentionally direct a healing into their physical, mental and emotional bodies.

REIKI LEVEL 3 MASTER/TEACHER

Level 2 is a pre-requisite for Level 3. A photocopy of your Level 2 certificate is required upon registration. This workshop is 24 hours and is completed in 3 days.  A certificate will be issued at the end of the workshop. Some information and techniques covered in this workshop are

· the Reiki Master symbols,

· the Antahkarana symbol,

· aura clearing,

· chakra balancing,

· the violet breath,

· how to attune others to the Reiki energy,

· and the Level 3 attunement.

Tuition is $495.00 per person. This includes your manual, additional handouts and any mentoring required.

After receiving the level 3 attunement, you will be able to intentionally direct a healing into all of the energy bodies. You will also be able to attune others to Reiki energy.

ANIMAL REIKI—CORE CORRICULUM

This workshop is taught as an add-on to Reiki Level 2 or 3. A photocopy of your Level 2 or 3 certificate is required upon registration. This workshop is 8 hours and is completed in one day. The purpose of this workshop is to provide a practical and in-depth foundation in Reiki with animals.

After completing this workshop, you will be able to knowledgeably and confidently apply Reiki to animals.

WORKSHOP PARTICULARS

I generally teach these workshops in a one-on-one environment, I do not arrange groups. Groups are prearranged by individuals and generally include a circle of friends or like minded associates who wish to have me come into their group to teach them. Groups generally consist of 4 - 8 students but can vary. Please contact me to discuss this if you have a group size outside of this guideline.

Students are encouraged to bring a light lunch. The lunch break is kept to a 1/2 hr so that there will be enough time to cover all of the information in the allotted time.

Rates per student for each level is the same no matter whether the workshop is private or a group.

A discount will be given to any individual which has

· Personally organized a group of 4 or more students,

· is participating in the workshop and

· is hosting the workshop at their location.

Workshops that are arranged for outside of Kelowna will have an additional expense charge to cover travel expenses etc.

WORKSHOP REGISTRATION, DEPOSIT

 AND REFUND POLICY

If you are registering for Level 2 or 3, please photocopy your current certificate and submit it with your deposit. Level 2 or higher is required to register for Animal Reiki. Please photocopy your current certificate and submit it with your deposit.

A deposit of $50.00 is required to hold your seat for any workshop. The deposit is fully refundable if cancelled 48 hours or more before the workshop begins. Example; If you are registered for a workshop on Sun Jan 18^th @ 8am then your deposit is fully refundable up to Fri Jan 16^th @ 8am .

Otherwise, the deposit is nonrefundable. No exceptions please-if I hold a seat for you, then please expect to honor the refund policy.

The balance or the workshop fee is due the day of the workshop you are registered for and is payable with cash or check. No electronic payments are available on site.

· Make sure to indicate in your e-mail; which workshop the deposit is for along with the date, your full name, phone number and your address

Option 2  Remit your deposit through the mail

· Make your deposit check of $50 payable to Maxine Boulding

· Attach your check to a short note indicating which workshop and date that you are making this deposit towards

· Make sure to include your full name, phone number and mailing address with your check

· Enclose a photocopy of your certificate with your deposit and mail to Maxine Boulding 3311 Marion Road, Kelowna, BC V1X 6K1

Option 3  Remit your deposit in person

· Remit your deposit in person as either cash or check made payable to Maxine Boulding

· Attach your check or cash to a short note indicating which workshop and date that you are making this deposit towards

· Make sure to include your full name, phone number and mailing address with your deposit

· Enclose a photocopy of your certificate with your deposit and deliver to Maxine Boulding 3311 Marion Road, Kelowna, BC V1X 6K1.

· Call Maxine @ 250-765-9416 if you want to hand deliver it to me otherwise, if I am not home at the time of your delivery then make sure that your deposit along with certificate is in a sealed envelope with Maxine on the outside of the envelope. Simply put your envelope in the Red mail box on the front of the house.
